THE FINAL VIDEO IS DONE!
L2 YELLOW GROUP 1 - FINAL MUTR:IX TITLE SEQUENCE from Long Road Applied Media Diploma on Vimeo.
We've finished the MuTr:IX title sequence and opening sequence! Was hard work be we did it! Thanks to Harry Marino, Harvey Bliss, and Ross Charette.
The feedback we had was mostly positive which is good news and gives us further confidence for future projects. Our editing was snappy, fast, chilled and the 'Snatch effect' was good which was the main feature for this project. People have said that our camerawork had good transitions, a wide range of shots, good perspective, brilliant close ups and the shot that was mostly liked was the basketball/bin shot. The class also stated that the sound had a catchy song for the title sequence and that the speech was clear and the sound synced with the video.
Unfortunately, we did have some negative comments as well which is saddening but we take on board all comments and use them to our advantage. Some of our camera work was shaky and we didn't have much colour.
We've been told our acting was great, which we are very happy about and that it worked well :) and that our audience should be for young adults aged 12+...

L2 UNIT 40 - MuTr:IX Brief
Channel 4 has commissioned a six-part television drama to be scheduled at the same time as Doctor Who on the BBC. This new drama series will compete for a similar target audience as the BBC’s flagship programme.
The series finale will conclude with a Christmas Eve special.
It will be a conspiracy thriller set at a sixth form college in Cambridge. Four students individually get tipped off by email / social media messages that students of the college are to receive a government agency experimental treatment originally trialled in 2009 (“Mutation Treatment IX”) which eradicates any sense of protest or activist behaviour in the upcoming generation of the electorate towards the government aim of absolute control. The treatment is received/ingested through the eye, without students’ knowledge or consent.
The four student protagonists are:
1. An activist (hacker, studying political sciences)
2. A non-activist (interests in sport, fashion, a consumer, alpha college social character etc.)

4. A budding bio scientist (with interests in human biology)
